Amazing landscape photos from five weeks in northwest NSW

I had big plans for a trip through Victoria and South Australia in September 2020… Well, with all the border closures, it became a trip through the northwest of NSW. Amazing landscapes that can’t be seen in other places in the world. When people say that the sky is big in the outback, you have no idea until you see it for yourself. The night sky is dark and the stars are bright. It provides great photo opportunities. In daylight, the landscape is flat and vast. You can see the horizon in front of you and yet, turn around and see it behind you too. Some welcome spring rain had fallen on the normally dry ground and the wildflowers started to sprout.
